Training Classes

We run 6 classes a week for various ages and abilities of dogs, from Puppy Socialisation classes for the very young puppies, to junior classes for the under twelve month ones. Classes are held to help your dog to be a good member of the family and include the basics of sitting, lying down on command, coming when called and walking nicely on a lead.
We can also help you to train your dog in the art of retrieving, scent work, heel work to music and clicker training.
Classes are held in our purpose built training centre and in the better weather in our enclosed field.

Monday 7.30 pm - This is a set 6 week class costing £30 open to dogs of any age, contact Teresa at the kennels to be put on the waiting list for a place on the next course.

 

Next Course starts on 11th March 2013, contact kennels if you would like a place on this course 

Tuesday 5 pm - This is our Puppy Socialisation Class puppies have to be under 18 weeks to start in this class, the cost is £30, but classes do not have to be taken consecutively, although your puppy will benefit more if they are.

Tuesday 6 pm - This is our Junior Class for dogs up to 12 months of age, the cost is £30, but classes do not have to be taken consecutively, although your dog will benefit more if they are.

Monday 8.30 pm and 9.15 pm - These classes are for dogs which have previously attended one of our above classes, the cost is £30 for 10 lessons which do not have to be taken consecutively.

 We also run a Trick Class once a every couple of months.

 

 

Next Trick Training Class on Monday 25th February 7.00 pm

Training can be offered to dogs staying in the kennels while their owners are away, and one to one training can be arranged for behaviour problems.

HBK Agility Classes are held in our field and beginner courses are held 4 times a year, there is a fairly long waiting list for agility so get you name down early. Dogs have to be over 9 months of age to do the agility course and it cost £50 for 8 lessons.

 

The next Agility Course starts on Sunday 20th January at 11.00 am
